| Synopsis
‘Mapa Mudo V1’ is the first iteration of the artwork ‘Mapa Mudo’, later distinguished with the Painting Prize of A Brasileira do Chiado. Created with acrylic paint on hand-dyed and carefully stitched fabrics, this piece initiates a visual inquiry into the figure, fragmentation, and the material memory of textiles, laying the foundations for a dialogue between textile practices and contemporary painting.
